1. EvE Online is unique, pay-for-play MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) set in a science fiction space setting. Basically, player is controlling his own starship and exploring galaxy

3. You can participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, like mining, manufacturing, trade, exploration and combat (PvP or PvE).

4. In EvE Online, players can’t receive any experience points, all character can only raise their skills (progress is based on a real-time clock).

5. If your someone or something will destroy your starship, you must pay for new one - there is no respawn. To secure your starship you must obtain special insurance which is expensive if you’ve got big starship.

6. EvE Online money are called ISK, just like in Iceland.

7. To play you need to pay for every month subscription, you can use 3 subscription methods. First one requires a credit card. Second is standard way by Game time card, officially called Eve Time Code. Third way is through the purchase of Eve Time Codes using ISK - official in-game currency.

8. Piracy (in the ship-to-ship sense) is part of the game, as is protection racketeering, theft, and ransom.

9. Players pilot customizable ships through a universe comprising over 7300 star systems. You are space pilot and you’ve got your own special spaceship, with fancy lasers, explosive rockets and tons of cool weaponry. Use em wisely.

10. In EvE Online has over 7300 star system, some regions of space are safer, some are dangerous.
